Assembly code is a mnemonic, symbolic low level language which almost has a 1 to 1 relationship with machine code. Words called Mnemonics make it easier for humans to understand rather than machine code. An assembler is needed to convert assembly into machine code.

OPCODES

Opcode is an abbreviated term for Operation Codes. Opcodes are used in Assembly Language to give one single instruction to the CPU. Each Opcode carries out a specific task.
