INTERACTIVE MODE VS SCRIPT MODE

When IDLE first loads, it loads in INTERACTIVE MODE. Each line you type is executed when you press enter or return. All prevously typed code is stored in memory. The program does not need to be saved in order to run.

SCRIPT MODE will only be executed after you have saved the program you have written. This is the main way you will write your programs.
